July 8 2004 the (at the time in some way "one and only")
French Internet Directory
is again introduced on the Parisian stockmarket,
but now no longer part of Wanadoo,
but as Pages Jaunes SA.
France Telecom sells 43% of the shares
(which could be subscribed for a price
between 13,20 and 15,20 euro per share).

2006 France Telecom sells it´s remaining stock
to the American Investment Firm KKR (Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co),
a company which previously owned
and later sold the Yellowpages in Canada,
Yellowpages.ca / Pagesjaunes.ca.
But KKR is not really a phone company
the also owns supermarkets in the US,
banks in china or breweries in South Korea.
The majority of the former
partly French State state owned ODA / Pages Jaunes
suddenly become part of a private investment portfolio.

Years go by
but Pages Jaunes SA in Sevres
is never able to get hold of the
famous internet domain pagesjaunes.com
... their lawsuit, now in the 11th year continues.
It is probably the longes lawsuit over an internet domain
in the history of the internet.

A new Wipo case has been filed in july 2011

The Case N°D 2011-1203
was decided October 5 2011 by 3 panelists
Francois Dessemontet from Switzerland, Nathalie Dreyfus from France
and Jonathan Turner from the UK.

The domain pagesjaunes.com
is again defended by the famous
trademark lawyer Andre Bertrand.

It is probably the first time that Wipo had to decide a second time
over the same domain name, still owned by the same person,
Jean Noel Frydman, the original owner,
back from the very early years of the Internet.
For the second time Wipo has decided
Mr Frydman can keep the domain.
A big decision in regards to the Directory market of tomorrow.
